Ferrari Approved Used 458 - Delivery Questions
Discussion
Congratulations. The 458 is a wonderful car.
You should have the cover and conditioner. It also IIRC has only two keys (identical) but you should have keycare code (on a bit of plastic like a credit card).
On the conditioner, I had mine plugged into a new optimate but replaced the plug at the end to fit into the Ferrari slot.
Worth chasing the conditioner as it is an unnecessarily expensive item.

Many thanks - Got the two keys, three Navtrack fobs and have now found the cover and charger too! Lovely sunny day today time for a morning blast You should have the cover and conditioner. Re. the tracker fobs, make sure you call Cobra or whoever it is that runs your service and check all the fobs are working.
The last three cars I've had trackers in weren't set up properly despite the dealer confirming they were. Also, they don't send out new ones anymore apparently so the batteries inside them might need changing. I found these for a quid in Poundland
Also, if there's a tracker fob tucked in to the driver visor cover, chances are that it won't work!
Enjoy your new car!!

Yes have the remainder (3 years) of the service pack remaining! Nearly 500 miles in two days I just can't stop driving this thing!
Great feeling though isn't it? Same experience here, picked up a 599 six weeks ago and can't stop driving it either. My other car, which is supposed to fulfil the DD role, isn't getting a look-in! The joy of Ferrari ownership.Sorry guys - I have been away in the US for a couple of weeks so have not been active on PH. The car is phenomenal - I replaced a Maserati Granturismo MC shift with this and the only thing I miss is the sound of my older car. The 458 sounds insane in race mode but it a bit too quiet in other modes. It can get a bit bugging when in race mode for longer distances so I think it's just about right as it left the factory and I won't be messing around trying to make it sound better. In all other aspects it's just a weapon! I'm really surprised as to how usable it is as a daily driver although probably not a good value for residuals it can easily be done. What a superb car it is
PS - I was pondering RED as my first F car but decided to go Nero instead and have had nothing but positive comments on the colour and it's always appreciated immensely!
I'll shortly upload pics!

Sounds great, I am on the hunt now for a 458 spider cant wait.
enjoy it they need to be driven, any regrets on changing the Aston ?
John - the Aston was the most boring car out of all those I have owned! Even the Jag XKR was more fun than my DB9! The DB11 does look exciting though enjoy it they need to be driven, any regrets on changing the Aston ?

nice! expect big jealousy from your neighbors!
It's a nice part of the world we live in and there are some great car's around (adjoining streets etc) however we live in a cul de sac full of OAPs so not many nice cars in my own street - so far they have all been very positive about it - then again they have seen me go through a lot of cars in the past few years Gassing Station | Ferrari V8 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
