Hello all,

I have some as new Magnesium F355 wheels (x4) I'm trying to work out what price to advertise them for.

Ferrari no longer make them, and there are no magnesium alloys for sale anywhere to give me a reference.

Any ideas?

thanks

I'd say £1200 a set, I sold a spare I had a while back for £300

I had the same dilemma a while back, but decided to keep them incase I wanted to switch them back come resale day. In the meantime I made one into a small glass side table using some bespoke cut glass along with galvanised threaded bar, locknuts, dome nuts and washers. Finished off with Ferrari valve and centre caps. Looks great and a non-destructive modification to boot....bonus!

I've seen quite a few pop up on eBay, I'd say around the 300-400 mark each depending on condition.

There appears to be only one genuine 355 wheel for sale on eBay at this moment for £1495, I'm not sure if its an original magnesium wheel or the later aluminium type - but this is just for one wheel!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/alloy-wheel-Ferrari-F355...

Good luck with the sale.

Thank you for the replies.

have spoken to 2 specialists, one saying I can charge whatever I like as you simply can't buy them anywhere. the other said he sold a set last year for 2.5k and his words "could have sold them 10 times over"

Phib I haven't received your email.

I may just keep them, or advertise them at 3k and see what happens.

the eBay one above is just 1 wheel and in Germany.

Thanks

Hi, just resent the email.

There are a couple of sets for sale with specialists and in all honesty the prices seem to vary a bit.

I bought 2 new ones a little while ago for £400 each, ideally would like a full four though

I bought two fronts recently, they had tyres fitted but we're pretty much unused, the tyres still had the pips on the tread and the rims still have the original speedline stickers near the tyre valve area. I paid the princely sum of £620 for two, I was rather happy with that! smile

If you don't need to sell them I'd be tempted to hang onto them. It's not like their value is going to go down.

The last set I saw on eBay went for £1,265.00 including Michelin PSS tyres. I kicked myself at the time as I forgot to put a bid in.

People spend 2.5k on bbs RS's in rare 18" fitment... I would say far more than that for these.

Any thoughts on getting yellow Ferrari calipers on my yellow 355 spider with black interior or will it look over the top?
Should I just stick with Black calipers?
