The 360 is going in for a service tomorrow and I am getting an itch for a Gallardo, anyone owned both and is this a good time to trade the 360?

Looking at the prices 360s seem to be commanding, I'd be looking to chop it in for something!

Have not owned both but have driven Gallardo's a few times. In my opinion (and everyone has one of course), the early Gallardos at least are not as nice to drive as a 360. The interior shouts A3 and while the noise is lovely, the driving experience doesn't really compare that well. Drive one as much as you can before deciding.

I would echo that. I drove a couple of the 2007 cars (manual and auto) and thought the driving experience felt under developed. In particular, whereas all the controls (brakes, throttle, clutch) feel like precision items in the Ferraris, they just didn't in the Lambos I tried. The Lambos seemed all about show, whereas the Ferraris felt (to me) like cars to be driven.

I also tried the change from 360 to gallardo a while back, the gallardo was a 53 plate, ended up selling it on almost straight away and keeping the 360 I intended to sell. The gallardo was a great car, but not special enough to me. Looked great, but as others said, inside it's very Audi. However, I haven't tried any later ones, and the spiders are stunningly nice looking, so I wouldn't say it isn't worth considering

Thanks all. Think I will hold on to it, for a while at least.
