Has anyone upgraded their standard F430 exhaust to the Ferrari upgrade. I have read many threads on Tubi vs etc... But I want to stick to Ferrari parts. Be interested in peoples comments.

I had a manifold issue back in June on my 430, I wanted to use Ferrari parts to fix but after reading that even the later type Ferrari manifolds can still fail decided to go after market.

I don't believe there is an upgrade option from Ferrari for the 430 exhaust, never seen one.

Ferrari call it the 'Sports' exhaust. It's made by either Tubi or Capristo.

I have had the Ferrari racing exhaust installed and have nothing but compliments. The fitting done by Meridien Lyndhurst is excellent. The drive it feels more responsive and conected but I am yet to drive it with any gusto. The sound is brilliant there are subtle improvements at start up and low revs but it is not intrusive and neither is there any drone or growl on Motorway. Over 4,000 revs it comes alive and puts chills down your back. Very pleased.

agreed for what is essentially a pair of back boxes, its insanely expense and thats without shipping, vat and import duty!

wow haven't seen that one before, that looks very cheap... a remote valve controller and some shiney talpipes cost about that, let alone the rest of it.

anybody got one?

Looking at that exhaust system not sure I would put that in my car in exchange of the original system. I think you get what you pay for. There is certainly more tubing on that than there is on the Ferrari speced exhaust.

The Ferrari exhaust kicks in at 3.5K revs anyway so is perfect for not being too intrusive to pedestrians whilst going through town.

Any claim of increased horsepower and torque is questionable. Ferrari stated that their exhaust would give max 5hp uplift.

Fitting of the exhaust systems is no easy job either.

I have just had the Ferrari Sports Exhaust fitted.

There are 4 versions of it. Quiet or Loud, and both are available with Polished or Black tips.

I had the Loud with Black tips installed by Meridiens.
They also kindly installed my Fabspeed Headers as well.

Here are a couple of vids.

Why not install a switchable exhaust valve? I have had one fitted to my 458 and it sounds amazing now! Quiet when you want it to be and loud when required!

No effect on warranty either as it is pretty much invisible.
