I have read and can see the rear screen is zipped in but I cannot see the pull tab/slider. Is the slider removed as part of the fastening in. Also the outside of the screen seems to be bonded/glued to the hood. Has anyone actual removed the screen?

It's actually a bit more involved than just unzipping. There are two wires tucked away in the (from memory) bottom left of the inside screen. You need to apply (I think) 12v to these for 5 minutes in order to heat the glue and soften it. The screen can then be unzipped. The opposite applies when refitting, and the procedure can only be performed a number of times.

I recommend getting a copy of the workshop manual to cover the specifics.

I had mine changed (at the dealer). I believe it is simple enough with the correct equipment but does require an electrical current to be applied.
