Sorry Kris but please consider the following:
1. Selling for a friend
2. Full respray
3. 80k miles
4. Replacement engine
5. Points out - Sold with no warranty!
I'm terrified already, I think you should be too!
Of course I don't know for sure, this car might be great but the description frightens me to death!

I stumbled across this car when wandering around Ebay a couple of days ago. It made me wonder how shocking a state must it have been in before all of that work. The fact that it must've had so much maintenance ignored doesn't say much for the owner/s.
I agree - This is certainly not a cherished example!Aircooled_kris said:
The plot thickens after a couple phone calls and some probing the car was used as an instructor car at silverstone for 9 years hence the miles and all the money it's had spent it's done 60k on track !!!! Never been on the public highways since 2005 . Oh well back to the search
If nothing else has come out of this thread, I find It reassuring to know that a Ferrari can withstand 10 years and 60k miles of hard track driving / 75k before needing a new engine. If this is the same car I have in mind, it was for sale last year by eBay auction. It went for 33k. As you can imagine, it was an absolute shed at the time, but it would have been a decent project for someone.
The finances don't stack up as money-making project- it would only work in my opinion if buying at 33k to keep and run.

Oddly that was the first thought that went through my head - I saw the blu and tan one and it was going through a very small dealer. Then I looked at the photos and saw where the roll cage had been removed.
IIRC that one sold for £30k or so.
Offer them £35k, see what they say
Someone mentioned they had spoken to the mechanics at Silverstone and they really didn't describe the car well.
Not many tdf for sale unless you want a spider but prices are strong considering it is not convertible weather.
There is one at Slades

And then this one which is described as Pozzi Blue (love the different amount of blues that all look the same)

Good luck with your search.

I wondered too if it was one of the Silverstone cars when I first saw it. One thing to consider though for the Ferrari owners who are scared of mileage - this car spent 70odd k miles being driven hard on the track on its original engine. I think that's quite good
Edit: just realised somebody said the same thing above, sorry to repeat
