Considering a 360 spider

Hi all I'm considering a 360 spider just wondering what's out there ? Looking at climbing out of a supercharged ultima can am or my noble m400

The 360 is going to feel pretty tame after those two - how about an F430? Much better performance.

I only drove a 360 for about 5 miles, but honestly couldn't wait to get out of it. try before buying.

Agreed - if you can afford the relatively small premium the F430 carries then it is likely to be a better fit for you.

Otherwise, try and drive both a manual and F1 and see how you get on. Make sure you see as many cars as possible - there aren't many good ones around these days...

your main challenge will be finding a good one, i tried to buy one over 18 months ago and couldn't find the right spec/history/condition car even at the top end of the market, in the end i bought a 430 (for no much more money) and its epic

I have an Ultima GTR and a 360 Spider. It doesn't have to be either / or

They are so different in every way. Ultima is obviously "faster" but it is so, so, so much easier to drive the 360 quickly. Sound wise, the V8 grunt of the Ultima doesn't come close to the scream of the Ferrari (particularly with Capristo exhaust and sports cats) and whilst the 430 is obviously a nice car as well, it is a different sound altogether. On the flip side, nothing much comes close to the visual drama of an Ultima on the road.

I haven't been in a CanAm but in the Spider you can have the roof off and heater on in almost any conditions and be totally cozy and warm.
