Are the keys seen below a full set, I thought there should be a red master key?

Pretty sure that's all I have. So if something's missing then it's a common theme

No red master key for the 360. The car would have been supplied with two silver keys, two black fobs, one red fob and a leather fob cover that matches the interior.

The red fob has a special function that is only used once when the system is programmed - after that it works the same as the black fobs.

You're missing 1 x Black fob, you used to need both the red fob and the code (4 digits IIRC) to programme another however these days there seems to be a few places around that can do it by cloning the fob. The fobs are used by other manufacturers so you don;t have to buy a Ferrari one

Thats good news F355GTS as I'm missing one black fob and the red one, any ideas where is the best place to purchase a fob? rather than ferrari's galactic prices

You will need to get your remaining black fob cloned which means sending it away to the cloner and risk losing it/knackering it......

TBH If you have your alarm system PIN code I'd bite the bullet and buy 3 new fobs from Ferrari and sell your old one to offset the cost.

They used to be about £299 for three and you'll probably pay £100 plus for a cloned one which will need alternating with your current one to keep the rolling codes close.

If you think Ferrari are galactic prices you should see what some chancers want for them on eBay!......

Do you know that's not bad, at that money ill buy from Ferrari, you're right about the chancers as I'm sure someone told me they'd be £1k. However the alarm pin code might be tough to find, would i find it in the booklet pack anywhere?

Check the price with a dealer first.

The PIN should be a 4 digit number on what looks like a bank pin letter or wage slip.
Not to be confused with the Becker radio pin.

Failing that try your friendly dealer. If the immobiliser board hasn't been changed they may be able to supply it.
That's how I got mine and free of charge

If you need anew immobiliser it is >£1k and cloning will look more attraxtive.

Thank you Mike
I looked though all the books and nothing like that supplied, except 2 little dog tag metal strips with a letter and four digits, presumably this would be to order a new key with. I shall make another contact with previous owners, failure there i shall then contact our local dealer.
Many thanks

You might be lucky, but many dealers didn't bother recording pin codes. You can't just change the immobiliser unit because the engine control units are also coded to the immobiliser, the red key fob is the "master" fob which is used by the factory to initially code the system, after which point it becomes no different to the two black fobs.
Ferrari supply a kit of an immobiliser, 3 fobs, and two engine ecu's....it's around six grand! Send the fob off to Eric in France and get it cloned/the pin read from one of your existing fobs.

Ed is it possible to swap the ECU's over left to right, right to left when fitting a new immobiliser?

Checking the PIN is present and correct should be on any PPI check.

As long as they have never been swapped before then yes, that would work, but many have!

I bought my 550 (ok different car but AFAIK same fobs) with one black fob and no pin.

£800 later I have 3 new fobs and a pin as part of a new kit from the dealer. Old fob (and a clone I had made of it) were punted on ebay for approx £100 each. All works fine, no more getting out of sync with the cloned fob!

Different engine ecu's fitted to a 360, so it doesn't work the same.

Contact via Eric355 on FChat.
I don't have a direct mail address.

If you know the supplying dealer I would ask them if they have the PIN. What's the worst that can happen?

Didn't know that - thanks for the info. Just assumed it was the same as the fobs are the same
