I need a spare key for my F430, trouble is I don't have the 'credit card' sized key codes card.

Am told have to get the codes from Ferrari (£200 for each code, so £400) plus key at £281.77 + vat. Then have to code it at the dealers (£75 + vat).

Anyone know how else to get the key codes? I thought as I have one original key, the code could be obtained from this?

Thanks, David

David

it's worth contacting the supplying dealer i.e. when new as, they almost all keep a copy of the keycard

Thanks for the advice, I started off that way but supplying dealer was Evans Halshaw, who I think became P J Evans? but they do not seem to be trading anymore? Car is a 'BX' pre-fix so would definitely have started life up there.

Thanks for the help,

David

Think positive: have you tried the current Birmingham dealer (Graypaul) who may have taken over the records ?

Holy smoke,

£828.12 for a new key with the VAT?

At least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

£828 isn't bad.... To get the new code, key and remote for my 360 was over £1100

Do you have the build sheet that would have come with your car new? Mine has some codes on it which I assume are in case the card is lost.

Graypaul Birmingham say they didn't take over the P J Evans/Evans Halshaw franchise, but they think Stratstone Little Aston might have done, who became Stratstone Manchester??

So next stop, Stratstone Manchester!!
