Evening all,

As the title says I'm looking for an F430 preferably coupe but will consider convertible.
Not for me unfortunately, my brother who lives in the states has given me the task of finding him a car as his UK run-around........lucky bar steward!

He keeps doing £1k on hire cars every time he visits the UK and wants something that going to be pretty much depreciation proof. He's not fussed if it's LHD or RHD and most colour combinations are OK.

So, if anyone is looking to sell in the near future, please let me know.
Many thanksthumbup

P.S. The bonus is I get to look after it for him.biggrin

I'm also not opposed to sourcing one from Europe - details of any good EU dealers much appreciated.

Cheers

Around £80k'ish - obviously dependant on year, mileage and LHD/RHD

I know this car and it's a good one: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...

The ad says the car is in the USA but I think that's because the owner now lives out there - it's actually in the UK.

Saw that and thought the "CA, United States" thing was a mistake. Bit of a shame as it might make people instinctively click away before reading the description proper.

My RHD 2006 F1 coupe rosso corsa with Nero interior (carbon sports seats) might be available.
High spec with rollbar, parking sensors, Bluetooth and so on. Owned by me for nearly 3 yrs. full ferrari service history. Yours for a measly 64k. If you want simply depreciation free then I'm afraid mines not the one as it will only appreciate from here :-)

Hi Russ,

I have a Grigio Silverstone F430 Spider with Tan daytona seats, carbon pack, carbon brakes, sat nav etc.. which I'm shortly to be parting with. Just had major service and new manifolds at main dealer. It's LHD and looking for circa £65k. 2006 with 25k miles.

Let me know if you'd like to chat further.

Best regards

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm test driving a 2007 (2008 MY) coupe next week. Yellow, FSH last major in 2013 at 29k km. Today at 32k km and 89kchf (~ 60k£). Manifolds done by Ferrari.

When are the major services due , is it only mileage based. I'm aware of the yearly requirement.
Last question, it has ceramics which look Ok. I'll check properly before being serious but on a normal none tracked car, how long would pads and discs last approx?

I've got one on it's way over from Italy at the moment. Some excellent deals to be had.

Happy to offer you some free advice if you need it.

Are you sure its a 2008 model year car? 2008 model year revisions are on cars from 05/08 onwards (Revised Manifolds, PDC front and rear/ CCB's and revised loom), I've never seen a 2007 car with 2008 revisions? in face, there are lots of pre revision 2008 cars around.

I dont have the service book but it's based on Mileage for the majors, not time - the time one is the annual oil change.
From memory, Major services are: 10t km 30tkm 50tkm

No I am not sure and just took the salesman's information. I would check all information in detail if I go further. It's a Swiss car so I have no idea about the MY dates but it has CCB's but no PDC so sounds like the salesguy was just BS'ing. 30K Km major was done I saw the service book so this clears up my major concern. I'm far away from buying but it's fun to look and the prices today compared to Porsches seem very attractive.

Thread resurrectionsmile

I'm still on the look out for an F430 after failing to find a suitable one last summer.
So if you're planning on selling within the next couple of months or know of a decent one for sale please can you post details.

Thanksthumbup
