I'm having a refresh of my exhaust including new stainless tips being welded on. Also changing all clamps for stainless replacements and fitting the Capristo exhaust bracket.

I would like to change studs and nuts at the same time but can't find any part numbers for these items.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Which studs and nuts are you referring to?

I can see quite a few fasteners in that picture. O/T, are you trying to write a buyers guide?

Using my mind reading powers, I suspect you are referring to the fasteners that hold the exhaust tips to the silencer. The nut is part number 179808 but you'd be better off buying a regular M8 all metal self locking nut rather than getting ripped off by Ferrari.

The studs are supplied as part of the exhaust tips (part numbers 231543 & 231542). However, they are prone to rounding off in their housing so are frequently replaced with normal M8 stainless bolts. If you PM me your address I'll post you a set of bolts and nuts FOC....

Your mind reading powers are indeed perceptive! Yes the studs that hold the tips to the silencer!

Buyers guide?

Thanks!! I will send you my address, I will send £20 to a charity of your choice to say thanks.

Your photo was called "F430-Buyers-Guide-26-74-L-0-5791_zpswg5cokny.jpg.html".

I'll dig a set of the fasteners out of the workshop tomorrow...

Ripped the pic off the internet after a google search for F430 exhaust.
