I have been playing around with a few things in my head! 355 or 360! Risidual value on the 355 seems very strong, and the 360 seems to have crept up quite a bit in the last 12 months. Always wanted a 360 as I believe I could get to drive more often.

My question is, what would you purchase if you were looking to use the car in mainland Europe 65% of the time and the rest in the UK. 3,000 to 5,000 a year mileage.

Should i look for a left hand drive? Is there stigma still attached to lefty's in the UK?

The cost is roughly 10k cheaper.. Being of italian origin(parents) I have lots of family that can source me some incredible cars there, also in my opinion a real Ferrari is a lefty,

My Italian friends say il vero Ferrari Si guida alla sinistra!! But here people see it as the cheaper option....

Thoughts... I guess my thought is- who cares left or right I will enjoy it the same!

funds for both option, but not sure what to go for.

Grazie, thanks

Looking forward to some qualified responses from owners. From a non-owning but fairly knowledgeable enthusiast's perspective, it's tough one. The 355 is undeniably prettier and sounds better, but the 360 is more robust, doesn't suffer from the buttress issues of the 355, is much cheaper to change the belts due to a service hatch behind the seats and looks like a relative bargain at the moment.

Heart: 355.
Head: 360.

The 360 is good investment, it's massively underpriced for what it is, I would say though that there is huge stigma attached to left hookers here in the UK .
Obvious reasons of course, mainly bloody difficult to overtake and a little less safe on exits, I know that I will be slammed here amongst our fellow friends but buy red"you know as an Italian that you have to" buy cream interior and buy manual. You will not go wrong. Mike

I'm sure Mike won't mind me pointing this out but you are allowed to buy non-red, non-crema and F1. Mike's single-handedly talking up the market for his very own car lol smile

Drive them all and make a decision based on a blend of head/heart. I'm you won't be disappointed.

I've been looking at these . Prices seem good here in Switzerland considering the prices of 355's and the crazy Porsche 911 prices. I'm going to see a 2004 F360, 40k km, red with cream for 60kchf, that's about 40k GBP. I'll post the link if anyone is interested or just search on autoscout24.ch

On swiss cars remember to factor into the cost the import and customs duty, there's an extra 30% straight away on top if you want to bring one into the EU
