458 Racing Seats a little Uncomfortable?
Discussion
Shortly very likely I'll be trading in my V12 Vantage for a 458. The lightweight seats in my V12V are incredibly supportive for long journeys, but when I drove a 458 around London I fund the Racing Seats to be very hard. Not sure I could use them every day.
How do people find the Racing Seats vs the Standard/Daytona for regular driving, as this will be a daily. Also, how does the desirability change with resale?
Apologies if a similar thread exists.

I have had the racing seats in a 575, 360 and 430. They are really comfortable over long distances and have the major advantage if you are tall of giving you an extra 2 inches of headroom (which I find rather tight with the standard seats). On resale, I gather that the race seats are very sought after. Their only downside is that getting in or out is slightly harder, but you soon find the technique. I would certainly go of it if ordering a new car.
interesting. It just shows that you need to try them for yourself. My wife has a bad back and finds most seats very uncomfortable. The Ferrari race seats are for her the best we have tried and she can go for 500 miles in a day in them with out discomfort. That the seats are also comfortable for me (she is 5'6" and I am 6'3" and twice her weight) demonstrates just how well they are designed.
I have an F430 with the race seats, I'm 6ft ish, slim build with prolapsed disks in my lower spine, I find them super comfy, look good, feel good, good for resale, agree with others on the extra height and finding your own way to get in and out in a way that protects your seat bolster from damaged
