Not sure on the colour but definitely not rosso dino! Will be a bespoke colour, wouldn't surprise me if the owner is also the owner of a 458 speciale aperta that was spotted I believe in the same colour!

There is something missing in the video to me...he seems to admire it greatly, be impressed by its performance, but I did not get the sense of personal passion and involvement...

I was also wondering why Chris Harris now seems to only reference same make, rather than comparing against other manufacturers when doing road tests.

Interesting to see I am not the only one who thought the review was a bit dubious. He says all the right things but he doesn't seem to genuinely believe them like he usually does. It seems Chris may have decided that his time exiled from Maranello was something he doesn't want to revisit. It's a bit of a shame if he is no longer giving his un-biased opinion as that can be very hard to get from journalists these days. Every car they test seems to be amazing and all comparisons end with all the cars winning equally.

Also agreed on the sound, better? Doubt it.

I seem to remember that he thought the 458 sounded a bit too synthetic when he reviewed it.

I haven't watched it for some time but I seem to remember he thought the 458 Spider sounded pretty good on that video he did at some circuit with the red/gold wheels/f*ck awful beige interior one that he did. Owning one I can say it sounds bloody awesome. The whip crack on upshifts makes me laugh like a lunatic.

I'll be keeping mine till I'm too old to get in and out of it.
