Hello

I take delivery of my Scud next weekend hopefully. It has great spec but no racing four point harnesses. Did all Scuds not come with this as standard (so they have been removed) or was it an optional extra?

I presume they can be easily retrofitted?

I drove one in anger for first time last weekend - was impressed by performance and composure at speed, epic sound when revved out! Think this is going to be fun....

As the chap above says, harnesses were an option. They are something of a hybrid, not a real racing harness, and do up with a single seatbelt style clip. Also 4 point not 6 point. So, really more for show than real action and they do restrict you a little.

I'd try the car with seatbelts before ordering the harnesses as you'll pay the special Ferrari tax for them and I'm not sure the market values one above the other.

Thanks chaps- very helpful. Think I will try as is and see how I get on.

Has anyone done much track work with theirs? Any views appreciated. Poor photo of car below... Loving the gold alloys (homage to my old 22B!)

Retro fitting harnesses isn't easy, fire wall mounts are not present so this will need to be fabricated.

Well I have gone the other way.
Mine has the four point harness, same as my old Stradale.A real PITA.
I have had three point harness (£375 +vat each) fitted.
The four point were released from the seat base and tucked behind the seat, left secured to the firewall.
Simple to secure them for future track days.
