Grigio Titanio F430 driver overtook me whilst a cyclist was coming in the opposite direction coming out of Bainton (Stamford) heading to Helpston.... What an idiot he could easily have crashed into the poor bloke and there was a nice straight within yards he could have safely used... I was in my daily snotter... But these guys bring Ferrari drivers into disrepute! Tut tut I really hope it was no one on here and I've not seen this one around Stamford so hopefully just passing through to a different area!
Drive safe!

I'm out that way sometimes but I've not seen another yet. Like you say it's a shame.

Need to get mine de-winterised!

No sympathy to F driver here however anyone who rides bicycle on public road in the UK without using bycicle lane is not particularly clever person and potential suicider ... so should be ready to be down

I've seen some shocking driving from Ferrari drivers, particularly in organised supercar convoys.
Money doesn't buy talent, and some of these guys are driving them the same way they drove at 17.

Come on Mr Vroom.... You telling me you've not had a moment of 'ambition outweighing talent' on the road. I bet there have been a few close moments when you've cut up old ladies in your XC90...

We are all Petrol heads on here so would hazard a guess to the last person are all guilty of some 'dubious' road manners at one time or another...

Stupid nanny state thread tbh...

This , I see 20 cars drive crap every day maybe more so why say f430 ?

The point is he did not crash and all was ok maybe he was in a better place to see he had room.

There are morons driving cheap cars.
There are morons driving expensive cars.
There are morons riding bikes.
There are morons walking the pavements.

Whether driving, riding, or walking, I treat everyone as though they could at any moment unexpectedly do something unnecessary, dangerous or stupid. Zero car accidents since I moved to London, but have suffered a t-boning, a dooring and a bus-running-me-into-the-kerb incident while on the bike.

Much as it pains me to get the bloody tube into work, I've stopped cycling in London now; the proportion of morons using all modes of transportation now means that the risk is unacceptably high.

For what it's worth, my driving is at its most courteous when I'm in the 355 rather than the daily snotter, as it's so conspicuous.

You are right! We all have off days and I was probably a little harsh and disappointed....

I think in the heat of the moment especially with frustrations of chugging drivers we are desperate to overtake and take some risks,

Just take car guys - you only have 1 life!

I know as I have to put a lot of you back together smile

I live near oakham, and theres a fair few toys around rutland/stamford area, but never heard or seen a grigio titanio one, one must presume that the driver was just passing through (i hope) some of the roads near there can be a bit sketchy (a lot of cyclists too).
Plenty of ste drivers both in flash or mundane drivers (I find excessively early brakers some of the worst), unfortunately every day you will encounter good or bad drivers; as long as the cyclist is ok at the end of the day thats what matters but appreciate your point!

I came across two cyclists riding side by side on a busy main road. I was in the 430, bearing in mind it's a fairly wide car, I literally couldn't over take until a dead straight bit with no cars.. Why they couldn't ride single file I have no idea.. Must be the conversation about what matching Lycra to buy. (Joke before any cyclists in here take offence)
