Where Have all the good F430 Tin Tops gone?
Discussion
Looking for a well looked after F430 in red/crema or black/crema circa 2006 to 2009 but don't seem to be able to locate one.
Seems to be plenty of Spiders about but none with a proper lid on :-)
Is it just down to time of year when everyone has stocked up on soft tops? Will I have to wait until later in the year?

There is circa 30 advertised on here alone ????
Stock is fairly fluid as prices are stable and not sure there will be a great deal more going into the winter.
Just a case of whether something fits your spec requirements but with a 9 year old used car there is likely to be some compromise unless you are prepared to wait.
Took me 18 months of scouring the country top to bottom to come up with my perfect spider but the compromise was cost and an extra £40k on the budget at the time

If you want a really nice spec car, this was my car that I sold in march 2013. It had 21500 miles on when I sold it and was totally imacculate and unmolested, a really high spec car that cost £156000 when new in 2007. You may not have thought about TDF blue, as I didn't either, but when you see the colour in the flesh it is truely a lovely colour and with a blue scruro leather dash and door panels land crema daytona seats with blue scruro stripes and crema roof panel it is unique.
Just thought I would point it out to you. Truth is I'm seriously tempted to buy it again myself, but now have a Mclrean spider.
If you need any info on the history pm me.

Lovely spec, I think TDF is one of the classier colours you can order any F car in, works really well with crema seats too. The only negative in my eyes looking at the spec is the lack of carbon - but that is not the be all and end all to some people. Colour looks lovely, and I'm sure there weren't many 430s in TDF, that I know of in the UK there are only one coupe and one spider TDF 458 (and know of1/2 speciale coupes too).If you want a really nice spec car, this was my car that I sold in march 2013. If you don't want to be 'lairy' (read rosso corsa) with your colour choice, TDF or grigio silverstone imo are the colours best to go for.
I think that 430s started entering the 'lower end' around the £70k market roughly and I think a lot of people seemed to make the jump into their first F car ownership at that point.
I appreciate the below comments, and Andyferrari she truly is an outstanding machine, I'm the owner now, its a totally genuine and impeccable example, I looked at many and decided against common red, I luv the contrast with the cream leather roof and blue leather dash, also the blue leather sills are outstanding, runs like a dream..., my first ferrari and won't be the last...only selling to fund a house build unfortunately; If anyone is at all interested you should view in Knaresborough and contact Ashley at uk sports and prestige, as seeing will convince you, the colour is very classy as people rightfully say against the leather its an amazing contrast, i felt the only upgrade needed was to lift the lights with an LED upgrade which make such a difference that the camera doesn't do justice; a week before advertising I had the hard wire for battery charger fitted and a new ferrari battery charger bought from JCT600/ferrari in leeds.
