Keeping a 360 Battery topped up.....?

Being some distance from my house, my garage has no power.

Can a 360 battery be isolated safely (a la 355) when the car isn't in use for a couple of weeks? or does that play havoc with the ECUs and settings?

How long with a 360 battery hold charge without use? (varies I guess - but roughly?)

I have a solar trickle charger but also have no idea if a 360 will take a trickle charge through a lighter socket...

Any definitive answers on these - greatly appreciated thanks

It all depends on the current drain when the car is locked and the systems are down. There are a few common things that can cause a high current drain but if you can sort them out (or don't have them in the first place) then you should be at a point when the car only draws about 50mA. A healthy battery should be able to maintain this, and start the car again, for a couple of weeks.

You can isolate the battery using the switch. It wont cause any damage but if you have a drain from the tracker it wont help you. If you do switch the power off, when you come to re-start, leave the key in position II for 10 seconds before starting the engine. This will allow the adaptive motors time to reset.

I think it will if the lighter works when the ignition is turned off.
