Capristo Exhaust Brackets
Discussion
I have Mk2 manifolds fitted. Should I upgrade the brackets to Capristo or not.

I have the Capristo brackets and my Mk2's still failed. What I can't tell you is whether the brackets were fitted at the same time as the replacement Mk2's, as both were on when I bought the car.
I'd say the brackets will extend the life of the stock manifolds rather than completely mitigate the risk of failure.

I personally don't think the capristo brackets are a step in the right direction. I recognise the shortcomings of the OEM brackets but attaching the exhaust to the chassis doesn't sit right with me. I know they have the springs to allow movement but I prefer to recommend aftermarket manifolds with OEM brackets (which is what I'm running on my own F430).
