Hi All,

New 430 owner here. I've spoke to a couple of member son here who have been really helpful regarding the ride height on a stock 430. I want to reduce the tyre gap by lowering the car slightly. I'm not looking to have it on the deck because I need to be able to get over speed humps etc. I'm literally just talking about 15-10mm perhaps a little more on the front than the rear.

Anyone else have any experience in doing this? How far did you adjust it and what were your experiences. Also any pictures of your cars would be great.

Harry

15 mm lower is the standard for 430 Scuderia and it looks so much better for it and I never had a single scraping issue.
My F430 spider looked way to high at the front but I never got round to sorting it out but it did bug me every day for 2 years

Agreed. It's bugging me already! I'm thinking of going with the 15mm drop

The standard suspension is fully adjustable. Geo set up required after the drop

I am also thinking about lowering to scud spec - can you let me know where you intend to get the work done. Thanks

Done mine - the back was disproportionately high. You just need a suitable C spanner then a full geo after you're done, as suggested above.

Gents

As a suggestion i use Robin at Damax (in fact he is working on my car as i type)

Will lower and do full geo to how you want the car. Been around for years and sets up a lot of race cars.

No affiliation - just a very loyal customer

Cheers

Paul

Had mine dropped 15mm at foskers as the tyre/arch gap looks to large. Also fitted 11mm spacers and she looks like a 430 spider should. No scrape issues at all either. I'll upload pic soon .

Had mine done at Damax. Parked next to a friends (stock) 430 and mine looks sooo much better. I only went 15mm but it makes the Wild of difference.

Had mine done recently, done it properly and fitted some scud springs and then scud geo while lowering to scud ride height.
Fitted hills engineering spacers 20mm rear and 15mm front.
Transforms the car.

I heard that spacers are bad for the car. Are they?
