Scratching that itch...
Discussion
Hello all,
Bought an i8 late Dec, lovely car but ultimately I kept looking at the Ferrai website, a mistake admittedly once that itch started... Been looking at getting my first Ferrari. I had thought a 458 was going to be the right way to start things off, test drove one last week, absolutely awesome car. Very nearly bought an unregistered new one but a final reality check told me it was not a sensible level to buy with the 488GTB 1 year away.
I am still lusting for a 2 year old one with the right specs around £160k but then again if I am wondering if I should be looking at a FF, even a F12 sub £200k...California T not really available and unsure I can wait till late 15 to spec a new one.
Appreciate views to help with the above, 458 is such an amazing car and the i8 is currently an easy trade-in
Thanks!

Agree V8 vs V12, different s but can't help thinking that at the £200k mark a F12 makes more sense than a 458 Spider. Very different cars for sure and that's assuming that there is any sense in spending £200k in a car of course Haven't looked at this of long but to the uninitiated i.e. me, Spider £170k for a 2013 newer sounds about right with decent specs, higher than that, tempted to go full bore and V12...
Thanks for the advice re Lambo, as good as they are, Gallardos a bit old hat now. Briefly looked at the Huracan but £70k premium for a different badge from the soon to be release R8 sounds steep...Bull sexier than rings but come on. Makes Ferrai carbon bits look good value lol
