I feel for you.
It's not just drying, it's the cold as well - not sure about the Michelins but Pirelli Corsas are not recommended for use in temps below 6C and I can vouch for them being anything but confidence inspiring in below 10C.

I can understand you not wanting to go out in the snow but if you can't drive it because the roads are a bit moist you may as well park it on your mantel piece.
Get a grip man and drive it like you stole it. Contrary to belief it won't disintegrate in the rain. I've had my new toy out for all 3 weekends I've had it and done 400 local miles in effectively 4 days.
Want to clock up the 600 running in miles this weekend so I can give it some beans

Totally agree with the sentiment of the post though! - Drive it when you want to, not because others drive their cars in stty weather!
