Been considering buying an F430 for some time and found one for sale which I have agreed a price of 75k.

2007 black spider with 22000 miles on the clock

Looking at the best ways to fund this as will be looking to put a deposit of 25-35k and was wondering if anyone has had any good dealings with finance companies or Ferrari dealerships?

JCT have put a finance package together at 6.9% APR but looking to shop around for the best deal.

Excellent choice - do you have any pics? Can't help with finance but enjoy your new purchase. Have you had a drive yet?

One way is if you have a mortgage and a lot of equity in the property. It's quite easy to set up an equity release and overpay at similar time span you would as the loan but at rates around 1.75-2.5%.

The equity in the house is something I hadn't considered but is definitely another possibility. I was thinking of paying up to half the price of the car up front and paying the remainder off on a finance package over a 3 year period. I am hoping to get a deal around the 5/5.5% APR level.

Regarding the car I haven't physically seen it but have arranged an appointment and test drive this Wednesday weather depending.

I have spoken to them today and asked for their best price before travelling 120 miles, anything wrong with that?

Rang up asked them for their best price, they called back about 20 minutes later gave me their best price told them I would do be happy at 75k if everything was found to be ok when I see/drive the car and they agreed. Happy??

Sounds like a sensible arrangement to me

Car looks lovely. Great colour combo. My only point would be to factor in upkeep costs in budgeting. Good luck with the search and sounds sensible to agree terms before viewing the car. I did exactly the same.

As said, if you can't afford to buy the car outright (I'm assuming) be mindful of the running costs. I'd also be a bit wary of mortgaging a long term asset (house equity) for a short term asset (car).

Having said all that, you only come this way once thumbup

Lovely car and looks like a good deal, are you sure that price is not conditional on taking their Finance ?
