Re-programme F430 key fob?

Is it possible to do this at home?
My spare key wasn't operating the remote lock/unlock, so i have changed the batteries. It still doesn't work (although it operates the locks manually and starts the car ok).
My other key works fine.
I hoping there's a simple "insert this, press that do this" sequence that will sort it out?
