Looks nice.
Must have cost a ££££ for the upgrades.

Certainly looks the part. I wonder how much purists would be put off by the 16M styling, and I'm surprised at the price but I guess that's the mileage at play.

Anyone care to speculate how much that lot would've cost to do? (I'm assuming you can actually buy genuine 16M parts)

How have they managed to get a 16M (one of 499) plaque ?- I assume you cannot easily get hold of them, unless it is from a written-off 16m

That looks great and must have cost a fortune to put together. If I was in the market for a F430 spider I'd be all over this one and would try and use the mileage to get a bargain.

I'm currently gathering the parts to do this to mine, but I draw the line at incorrect badges if the conversion is purely cosmetic.

It's dirt cheap for what it is. The genuine front bumper and skirts cost me £3500 alone, the carbon plenum is £2k at least second hand, the LED steering wheel another £2000, wheels and tyres £3500. There is literally thousands in bits there.

If you bought it and put it back to stock you'd be 'quids in'.

Always makes me ask the question was it in an accident ?

Its a lot cheaper to do the upgrades if the original parts are covered by insurance but to do it stand alone to an original undamaged car does not make financial sense IMHO. Rather put all the money towards the genuine item even if I have to compromise on higher miles

Unless its a keeper I think it will put more people off than on when it comes to resale and is a false economy.
Might be a used bargain in comparison for the next buyer if that's your sort of thing but hey why not go all the way and get a MR2 or Cougar kit car instead

It is a bit of a strange dichotomy.

I personally think the car would look better just being 16M inspired (eg. skirts and maybe stripe to taste), but as it is, with the plaque etc, it strays a little too far over the line into "wannabe 16M" territory, and actually makes the car appear less desirable to me.

You have to wonder though, if it's being sold for £78k how much of a bath the owner took trading it in. If all those parts are genuine rather than copies it would be eye watering.

What is a little confusing is that I would not expect a regular Spider with equivalent miles and spec (excluding 16M bits) to be much less than that price, which suggests the mods have negligible value in the market?

It's like putting an M badge on your 535d...just don't do it.

Looks nice but needs the race seats badly.

My spider has a few scud extras leaning towards the 16m look but without going to far imho

Looks nice smile Is that a stick on front plate? Did you get it made or cut it down yourself?

Interested to hear further details on this car - history etc.

It looks great for the money but a stripe and a plaque too imo.

I have seen the car.
It needs a little TLC

Give Dave a call at TFC who I am sure can give you all the info required.
