F40 prices - what are they actually selling for?
Discussion
Just wondered if anyone had any idea what price these are actually selling for at the moment.
I can see a few for sale with prices from 700k - 900k...but are they actually changing hands at these prices - or are dealers just listing and hoping?
I've got just over 9k on mine and to be honest would be tempted to sell at the moment if I could get towards the top end of that range.
Anyone care to share their thoughts?

Don't do it !!! Why swap an all time classic for a Koenigsegg ?
I've had the F40 about 10 years and loved every minute of it...I just think life's too short not to experience as much as you can.I can't imagine lying on my death bed thinking...'damn, I wish I hadn't bought that Agera R/CCX'.
From what I have read and seen of Christian - he really is inspirational and I'd love to be part of the companies journey.
I made my money taking punts on people - and just think this one is one I would not regret.

At the end of the day; it's your money and your F40 but I can't say I'd be doing the same....I can't imagine lying on my death bed thinking...'damn, I wish I hadn't bought that Agera R/CCX'.

Koenigseggs, whilst massively fast, don't appear to have the best reliability reputation, nor residual value.
But hey, horses for courses - you only live once and all that.

I believe from talking to people the problems were with older cars - not the newer ones. I would be looking at a newer one which has hopefully had any problems ironed out!Koenigseggs, whilst massively fast, don't appear to have the best reliability reputation, nor residual value.

g-reg - would love to have a drink with you one day to talk about the mind of an investor. I'm a keen technology nut - always have been, ever since the ZX8.1 I've been reasonably successful in software sales/marketing but I'm itching to take what I've learned over the years and plough that into my own innovation. To bring this thread back on topic, I love any F40 and aspire to own one some day soon
