Ferrari F430 Track Day Noise Testing

Hi,

I have just bought a F430 and I am thinking of taking it to the track. Has anyone had it sound tested. The limit at Goodwood is 105DB static, 0.5M.

Enjoy the car - standard exhaust should be ok @ 105 - but be sure as many Goodwood days are only 98

Thanks, I will check, I have been there many times on 98 and 105 days but this will be the first time in the F430.

They have a 98db day on Saturday so I might go and get it tested just to check. If I do I will post the result.

Wife wants to look at dining tables so may not have the time

As said above standard F430 exhaust should be OK @105db
My CS exhaust once it was well blown through failed 105db

OK, once again thanks for the replies. I went to Goodwood and had the car checked. It was 101db. It was wet and rainy and the tester said it might be more on a dry day but should be fine for 105bd days.

101 is pretty loud, rules out Bedford and rockingham, two of my local tracks
