360 Exhaust options

Hi Guys,
Never posted in the Ferrari section on piston heads, but thought I would today to see if I could get some feedback on exhausts.
I've got a 2003 360 Modena, it currently has the standard exhaust fitted and I just noticed that it's starting to crack around the seams, in fairness I think it's been like it for a while, but it has got worse through this year.
So I think it's time to change it and I've like to explore the different options.
I've been told that a factory supplied exhaust will be around £1200, just wondering what other resources are recommended by owners based on experience?
I don't want something to crazy and over the top, but I do very limited mileage in the car so it's not like I need it to be too quiet either. I've been saying for a while now that the factory exhaust didn't really do the car justice until you were fully on the throttle.

Hi, in short the preferred options are Tubi then capristo generally in that order although some will disagree.
Capristo has 3 different levels of noise depending on which one of the 3 options you go for, from valved to straight through.
Tubi and Capristo can be had for circa 1200 upwards secondhand.
Another option is the Factory racing system which is basically a CS unit very rare used but I do know a bloke who has a brand new one still in the box :-) they are circa 3k new in the UK but are virtually a discontinued item now.
There are other options in between of course.

Fitted a nouvalari back box and tail pipes to my spider. Would have fitted a Tubi or Capristo but couldn't justify the extra cost. Goughs who make the nouvalari are 10 miles from my house so visited there factory to see the quality of their work before purchasing. Whilst there they had replacement headers for F430 and 355 ready to be shipped to nick cartwrights. Fitted everything myself and all went ok
It looks like there is a challenge stadale back box on eBay at the moment, not stupidly priced.
I just wonder how complicated it would be to fit it into the 360.
There are also a couple of used 430 systems out there, again I'm wondering how hard it would be to get someone to make it fit.

Thanks for the info, I haven't got prices on any of these yet can't see any advertised prices for either tubi or Capristo so send them both emails. Also enquired as to a Larini system as well, waiting for them all to come back to me.I you don't marry asking, how much did you pay for your nouvalari back box?
Capristo and Tubi both around the £2500 mark new.
430 system will fit but needs modifying with a welding kit.

I sent these guys an email last night and had a reply from them before 7 AM this morning.I really like the look of their exhaust and very much like the price in comparison to some of the more well-known brands, so this morning I have ordered one, I'm collecting it in person directly from them next week. Looking forward to getting it on the car. - Thanks very much for your advice and comments, very much appreciated. much like you can't really justify the extra cost when this one has had pretty good reviews on a few other forums as well.

My next task is to clean up the engine bay, it's always been covered in the layer of dust kicked out by the original exhaust wadding, so putting a nice shiny exhaust in their is giving me an excuse to have a good clean and tidy and perhaps a bit of paint here and there.
I had a capristo I bought it new many year ago now on my 360 was around 1800 I think, we are talking about 10 years a go thought. Great noise was very loud and I mean very ! this was warm tick over

Thanks everyone for advice and input with regards to my exhaust.
Thought it was about time I updated this thread.
I ended up going for the nouvalari back box system to replace the existing back box, the service I got from them was excellent, the exhaust was made to order and was with me just under a week after placing the order. It included the back box and new tips as well.
I had my local Indy fit it for me, whilst the exhaust was out I decided to get them to clean the engine bay thoroughly and at the same time we had a few bits repainted to tidy the engine bay up.
I managed to get the car back and have a bit of a drive a couple of weeks before the weather took a turn for the worst. The exhaust sounds fantastic, it's got a deeper growl on takeover and low revs and then sounds awesome at the high end of the rev range. Only problem now is that I would love to hear what it sounds like following the car - but don't want to let anyone else loose with it.
The only slight negative is that the box is smaller which means that you can now see more of the engine bay structure underneath the exhaust location which looks a bit scruffy, so towards the end of the winter I've got some tidying up and a bit of paint work to do in and around that area.
