Certainly desirable, not sure about sensible or essential though...
It's also expensive.Anyway, I asked this question to a dealer and this is the reply:
Magneride suspension
20” Diamond cut wheels
Scuderia shields
Yellow rev counter
Full electric seats
CF steering wheel with leds
Horses stitched on the head rests
Stitching
Fold down rear seats
Aluminium foot rest
Nice seat upholstery i.e. diamond stitch
Coloured calipers
Front and rear parking
I have a feeling that the parking sensors are standard though - the rear camera view is optional.
Have you done the Millbrook drive yet?

Funny how a dealer lists a load of essential items, lol. I'm really upset that my Countach has no coloured calipers or diamond stitched leather. I did fit a rear camera for parking mind. 👍Anyway, I asked this question to a dealer and this is the reply:

Yes, was at Millbrook on Tuesday. Fun day, great car.Anyway, I asked this question to a dealer and this is the reply:

It is easy to add options to this car but they are indeed eye wateringly expensive, although my list is not too far away from yours. At this stage I just need to know what is sensible as it is so easy to add 20k+ to the base price by adding options.
Very favourable. When I first arrived, I thought they had some F12s parked outside.
Everyone knows and has their own opinion on the exterior, so I'll leave that alone.
The interior is much improved. The gauges have gone a little more towards the 458 layout.
There's a turbo boost dial in between the vents on the dash, with a nice touch sensitive surround to switch between displays. Sat nav is better.
Really hard to tell how much the drive has improved (or not) without spending more time on the road with it. But it is definitely faster. Got over 170 on the straight mile.
The brakes have been upgraded. We braked from 100 down to 0 very very quickly in damp conditions.
So, overall impressions are that it has definitely moved on from the previous model. Whether that's enough for me to pay the difference (let's say around £55k) from my car, I'm not sure yet. Could get a newish used 458 spider for the same price. But that's a different beast. I do like the dual character of the California. You don't have to go quick in it all the time, but you can do if you want. When I had the 458 Italia, it just encouraged you push it all the time.
Nice decision to have to make!
