Discussion
Hi there,
Does any one know of this 360:

I've been looking for a manual TDF car on and off for a while know, and this one is not too far from me so thinking of arranging a viewing. Just wondered if anyone on here knows it?
Thanks

I don't know the car but think it is the same one in my thread below owned by offshorematt ? The location of the car would make sense if so.

The dealer is Carlo at top gear who is one of the most respected Lamborghini specialists in the country.
I imagine car is still for sale because of its location..

Morning guys, yup the TDF one on Carlo's forecourt was my old 360. Bought it in 2009 and ran it for over four years and a little over 20k miles. Loved that car, but my head was ultimately turned and I traded it for a gallardo. It's telling that I've contemplated buying it back again several times (usually after a bottle of wine )
What did you want to know?
Edit - looking back it seems I did 18k miles in it, not over 20k after all. Just thought I'd get that in before someone does the sums and thinks it's had a 'haircut'

Hi Matt, I've emailed you a few questions,
Cheers
Hey. Nothing come through from you I'm afraid. Checked my profile and all the details are up to date so suspect it's a PH issue.Cheers
I just sent a long email to another chap about the car so let me know your contact details and I'll forward it across - see if that answers your questions? If not, happy to chat further.
Cheers
Matt
Viewing arranged for tomorrow, looking forward to it!
Can I just ask Matt, how did you find the car for your Euro trips? Its something I would like to do, but I (or rather my wife!) am a bit sceptical about luggage space for longer trips. We bought a Boxster last year to drive round Europe for a few weeks in the summer, and found we could fit loads of stuff in the two boots, and it is actually a lot more comfy than I expected. I'm 6'3" so need a fair bit of head and leg room. How did you find the 360 for this?
Cheers,
Lorne

I wouldn't worry. Boot space is massive (relatively) on the 360, plus the coupe has a fair amount of space behind the seats.
For Le Mans 2013 we packed;
- luggage for two
- two tents
- two inflatable roll mats
- two sleeping bags
- two camping chairs
- umbrellas, boots, jackets, camera bag, compressor, etc
And still had space for emergency spares (gaffa tape, cable ties, etc) and emergency wine (chateauneuf du pape).
Was never cramped, though both me and my passenger were 5ft 8in 'ish, so I guess there was more space behind the seats than you'll enjoy.
Picture below was taken just after I got it and gives an indication of front boot space;
The decent boot was the thing I most miss when compared with the gallardo. The lambo boot is compromised by the front diff and is so small that it barely manages a night away in a hotel for two...

The boot on my 430 was positively cavernous compared with the bloody Gallardo!
Last euro trip I did I just took a holdall (which filled the boot) and a backpack which I stuck behind the passenger seat, after a few days you have to start buying new stuff!

Agreed on the Boxster though for Euro trips. We packed for two and still came home with a crate of beer and the EEC wine and cheese mountain
