I'm interested in the opinions of those with experience of:
1. The heat insulating windscreen available for the 458.
2. The AFS headlight system for the 458.
Are they good? worth having? or just gimmicks - barely notice they're present?

I was told the heat insulating screen was aimed at the Middle Eastern market - not necessary in the UK
My last 458 had the AFS lights as they are compulsory when you have the lift system - on my latest self-spec'd car I didn't bother with either the lift or steer'y lights. Not missed them at all - so I'd say 'gimmick'!

Thanks for feedback - suspected as much re the lights. Car will eventually live in moderately more sunny latitudes than England but sounds like fancy windscreen might be unnecessary as well.My last 458 had the AFS lights as they are compulsory when you have the lift system - on my latest self-spec'd car I didn't bother with either the lift or steer'y lights.
