Have any California owners have had problem with the roof opening? His gets jammed after about 6 inches & won't open. Its opened fine every time up until now.
The car is under warranty but thought we'd check if its a common problem first.
If you can close everything do so, and then open the boot and check for even the slightest object that might be obscuring a sensor somewhere in the boot mechanism. Turn the car off, lock it, then unlock and start the car (Ctl Alt Del) then try again.
Take it to the dealer. Don't make the mistake I did; it's a complex and very powerful mechanism. And, very expensive to fix, if you are at fault. Let the experts deal with it.
