355 Third Brake Light

My (99) plate 355 is missing the high level brake light?
Was this option only or do most late cars have them?
Has anyone retrofitted one and is the connector there but just tucked away?

I realise you would need a new grille, is it worth the upgrade??
Does it look good and an improvement.

From what I have seen no I don't think the cables will be there, you will need to take an earth and +ve from one of the existing brake lights.

The car is not pre-wired for a third brake light. You can buy all the connectors from your local dealer.
It was an option for UK cars but fitted to all US cars from new. It is worth the upgrade IMO.
