360 ignition failure
Discussion
Hi guys.
Started my 360 today. Ran for 20 seconds then the engine stopped & all the instrument cluster lights/dials went out. Smell of burning & some blue smoke emerged from the dash. I've still got power to the windows, interior lights etc but nothing else. No sidelights, headlights, wipers or ignition lights.
Any ideas?

Thanks. Re disconnecting the battery, I've heard that after 24 hours or more the ECUs 'go cold' & then there's a lengthy driving recommissioning process involving idling, running at certain revs for a period, stopping & restarting etc in order for the ECUs to perform all of their onboard diagnostics. Anyone else heard of this?
Just an update for those that might be interested in what the problem was. Turns out the ignition switch burned out. This means replacing the ignition lock and also the door locks (the alternative being 2 separate keys for ignition & doors). Goodness knows how long it's going to take to obtain the parts from Ferrari...
Ouch. Eurospares are showing them in stock, might be worth asking them?
