Hi, I'm looking for a local specialist in the LA region to report on a car I'm interested in. Anyone know where I should be looking for such a specialist? Cheers.

It'll probably have to be a pretty valuable (or cheap) car to be worth importing by the time shipping compliance/registration & VAT are paid - or even a scam....

Thanks, I was going to get onto ferrarichat.

Re scams - these kind of dealers export all the time. Should be normal practice for them - I hope!

If you are thinking of saving a few grand on a fifty grand car you'd be better off buying in Europe - no import duties and a much larger resale market
