355 battery charger type? - Urgent
Discussion
Do you want a charger or a conditioner ie do you have a flat battery or do you want to make sure it does not go flat ? CTek is conditioner not usually at Halfords although they do have some other conditioners I believe
Its a fairly small regular battery in the 355 so whichever you need does not need to be anything special

Battery is flat, I've been told Ctek multi xs 3600 ? But I just want to get it started, although ironically she's nearly empty so I'd need to get to the petrol station fairly soon after starting so I'd be worried about not getting her started again.
Is there something I can pick up from high street that will charge the battery up to a decent level if I left it on for say 24 hours ?

Batteries rarely recover properly once this has happened. It will probably happen again.
The AA will come around and fit a new one if you are a member and order it?
Best thing to do then is get a battery charger that charges through the cigarette lighter and charge it up regularly if you are within reach of a plug.

does the engine turn over but not fast enough to start?
do the electrics turn on, but the engine doesn't turn over?
or is it completely dead and even the electrics don't work?
some chargers (such as the ctek mxs5.0, mxs7.0, mxs10, and mxs25) have a battery recovery function that allow you to recover even a deeply discharged battery
so if you are in a situation like one of the last two I've listed then I'd recommend a charger with a recovery function
however don't expect it to do its magic in just 24 hours: from my experience if you have a deeply discharged battery expect to keep the charger connected to the car for at least one week. with shorter periods I've always ended up with the battery going flat again after a couple of days if no charger was connected.
If your battery is that flat you might as well get a new one
while a good battery charger might be able to restore it to a level close to its original capacity, it will never be as good as new, and if you were buying the charger just for that reason don't bother and put the money towards a new battery

We use the CTEK and have been happy with it, possibly best to try Amazon as has been suggested. If the battery's dead it may be just that (as has been suggested!) - time for a new one. If you're worried about the car not starting after the short run for fuel, why not just bring a gallon back to the car in a can, surely that makes more sense. I've been in all of these situations and it's just not worth p!ss!ng around :-)
Thanks for the feedback, managed to source a working used Ctek within 40 mins of me, however its terminal (excuse the pun), battery is goosed so she's stuck in the garage.
So next question, can anyone tell me specifically a battery make / model for the 355 please and I'll get the front wheel off and the battery changed. This is my only option now as she was driven in front first and drive / garage on a slight incline.
Luckily its a double garage so I have plenty of room to get the wheel off on that side.
Thanks in advance
