Help from 430 owners: servicing/maintenance up to 30k

Hello all,
I'm going to look at several 430 Spiders over the weekend, all of which have covered between 20k and 30k miles. I've read plenty on common issues and what to look out for but the one thing I'm not quite sure of is what should have been done in terms of regular and scheduled maintenance to this mileage point.
If anyone could shed some light on this before the weekend it would be very much appreciated.

The service intervals are:
a) Annually regardless of mileage
b) At 6,250, 18,750, 31,250, 43,750 and so on
In theory a 2008 car with between 20 and 30k on the clock should have 5 stamps in the front part of the book (annual services) and two in the back (mileage services).
However, in practice it will have 3 annual stamps and 2 mileage stamps as the mileage services tend to me done on the annual anniversary. Any less and it's not FSH.

In Europe they tend to "ignore" the annual services... I've enquired about all too many cars with FFSH... only to found out they had had 1 service at 10k km only

I could understand if the car was stored and barely covered 1000 miles.. to maybe avoid one yearly service.. but seriously.. no service at all for 5 years ? How can you do that to your poor Ferrari.. there's going to be more air/water in that brake fluid than anything else.. and that poor engine when brought up to 7k RPMs will enjoy lubrication from a stale oil. Happy days..

I have had 2 430 spiders one manual for 2 years did around 8k miles in it, then another f1 from 1k miles to 22k miles in 4 years. Only issues where ball joints and manifold on the later car which I did the most miles in. Never missed a beat brilliant cars have a look at club scuderia

The HWM car I guess? The options on that car are the carbon fibre driving zone and the telephone module. Looks like a nice car!2006 F430 Spider

I also collect pertinent info on 360 and F430's in my database. I don't have anything on that car other than it has been for sale since Jan. Interestingly, HWM have been sporadically advertising a car with the same spec but for less money (£59k) - I can't tell if it is the same car as there are no pics on the advert!

Very good You're quite right: they had two grey Spiders in stock since Jan; one had 24k but required a front end respray so I wasn't keen on that, but the one I have left a deposit on was first advertised at 63 before ending up at it's current price of 68,998. You will have noticed that the Spiders have gone up quite a few thousand since the start of the year - whether this be seasonal or due to us coming out of recession (a la housing market) I don't know, but I did get a little off of the asking price.And the 360 market here: http://aldousvoice.com/category/buying-and-selling...

Yes - the average asking price of F430 Spiders has gone up 3.04% since January. I don't have any record of that car being advertised at £69k. Isn't this the car? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...andrew said:

That's the one. It was their originally advertised price before going to 'POA' on their own site. I used that ad as a bargaining point.Plenty of banter here I see
