Recommend an Insurer for a 458 Spider?

Picking up my new 458 Spider this week and just wondered if anyone could recommend an Insurer please?

Ive done the usual search via the comparison sites but thought I would check if anyone recommended anyone before taking a policy out.

Im 44, live in the sticks and have 7 other cars and full NCB so nothing crazy about me.

I've just gone with Elephant. Half the price of Admiral who I was with last year. 458 Italia by the way full ncb. 3 points 6k per annum limit, £650 ish

Loctons are good, especially f you want to use the car at trackdays in addition to road use

Aren't A plan a Broker? So you could end insured with anybody!

I have found Competion Car Insurance to be competitive on both Lotus and Ferrari - includes 5 track days (2 in Europe) they are part of Towergate now. 0844 892 1966. Never had to make a claim mind you, so can't vouch for the servce level when a prang occurs!

They insured my Xbow including 5 track days, said they didn't do 458's so couldn't cover it. Strange!

Ferrari is a 360 so just assumed they would cover a 458...strange indeed!

Thanks everyone. Went with Hiscocks in the end through First Point. Agreed value, all the trimmings.

Car is being collected from JCT by Paintshield tomorrow to go for full XPEL ultimate film coverage. Had it on my Porsche since new and it's been superb stuff. Swirl free cleaning, worth every penny!

Not.....long.......now!
