Hopefully no one on here?

Yellow 348 had hit the barriers on the A43 just a hundred yards after the roundabout with the Porsche and VW showrooms.

Probably a write off with damage to the front left corner and rear left corner frown

Saw that one as well some time after it happened.
Plod was there and the driver examining the destroyed front end.
Coming back down there last Monday it looked like quite a long accident as the barrier had yellow paint on it for some distance.
Given it was a dry day when it happened must have been an oil slick (yea right!) or too much right boot coming off the roundabout....
Cheers, Pewe.

Saw this poor car again today on the M25 on the back of a salvage truck. Insurers have obviously decided not to proceed with a repair. They'd removed the front bumper presumably to get a better look at the front structure of the car.

Very sad frown

Was me afraid not that far from home either been taking it really slowly down the A5 as well!.Read your comments months ago - but wasn't in the mood to comment at the time The back end just let go only doing bout 35mph! still in second gear felt it go light but just to slow to save it - if I could have who knows? Owned the car for over 13 years had many 'moments' in the past but was just getting over a bad head cold so not 100% so game over! Prayed not a write-off but not to be - what a coincidence you saw her again on the back of that truck (glad I didn't though) I hope she does get repaired by someone rather than just crushed her new reg is P49 UEX keep an eye out for her she might even be Ferrari red next time! RIP B19 YEL Thanks for the memories.

Rubbishdriver I can only empathise with you.
Since posting my comment I whanged my s/c MX5 into a roundabout not far from Basingrad, slightly damp, too enthusiastic on entry speed - resulted in a tank-slapper then spun off onto the central part of the island. Fortunately I missed going into the chevron sign by inches!
Old enough to know better and as I found out almost to my cost the guys at the Porsche Experience weren't wrong about keeping your foot in if it starts to go. Trouble is intuitively you tell your right foot to reduce the speed by lifting off, which only encourages the back to catch up with the front.
Lessons learnt all round - hope your insurers are sympathetic...
Cheers, Pewe.
