Been looking at a few Scuds some with 3000 miles and some with 6000 miles
Whats baffling me is what causes these cars to corrode or the paint to oxidize under the bonnet as it is impossible to get a stone chip in such a place
Is this common with such cars and how many of you Ferrari owners have come across this problem

360/430 Common problem on all the door shuts, scuttle panel, engine lid and under bonnet areas.......don't think they had any prep before painting at the factory....not a big deal to resolve.

Having mine painted as we speak on the 360.
AFAIK it's where the steel reacts with the aluminium, one of my wing indicators has a little bubbling around it as well and assume this was where someone has pushed in and the steel spring clip has taken the paint off.
