355 rear camber
Discussion
how much more wear are you getting on the inner edges (relative to the middle/outer edges ) of your 355 rear tyres?
I've had the geometry set to factory recommendations twice by wheels in motion , but am again noticing that the inner edges are wearing much more than the rest of the tyres
I have spoken to mike at QV LONDON and he says that he can adjust the camber to lessen this , as I do not race or track the car
has anyone else done this ?
while I fully appreciate that tyre life is hugely dependent on driving style , I would also be keen to know what sort of mileage people are getting from their front and rear 355 tyres
I am running on bridgestone SO-1's
thank-you

I never really noticed any excessive wear on the inside despite the amount of Camber. IIRC rear tyres used to last around 8k miles max.
One thing the excessive camber does encourage is some serious aquaplaning, having said that I'm not sure if I'd want to dabble with the factory settings as I assume it was setup for road use by the factory.

Did the garage 'weight' the car before measuring/adjusting the settings?
If you look up the correct procedure you need put a certain amount of weight in the car (and if i renmember correctly have a certain amount of fuel in the tank) before taking any reading or making adjustments.
When i had my F355 and had new tyres fitted i asked for the suspension to be checked, the company in question made a big noise about having the latest all singing all dancing equipment for setting up the geometry, but when i asked if they weighted the car (as per Ferrari's procedure) they said they didn't bother.
I subequently had Maranello Service set the car up and it felt so much better afterwards, not that it felt in any way wrong beforehand.

Have a look here for Ferrari's recommended procedure - 75kg of weight per seat to replicate driver/passenger

If you click 'next' at the top right it'll take you through the whole procedure and settings.
Hope that helps / makes a difference!
