Challenge stradale manual
Discussion
Tell me I am wrong but I thought challenge stradale's all came with the f1 gear change, and if so what is The black car being sold at the moment which if I my eyes do not deceive me has a manual gearbox in one of the photos.
Sorry but I do not know how to put the link up here, but you can see it under classifieds.

I'm not sure I would pay that for a real one but at least this is a proper manual car
You are boring......getting a bit like a porker fan.gt500nick said:
he is being paid by Lambo marketing dept to post as much anti Ferrari chat as possible, so far he is earning his money.
I wish. I think the F355GTS manual is the best car ever made but then again I might be biased if its rosso corsa and crema with a capristo exhaust
Ferrari fan through and through here. I've never knocked the CS as a car just its ridiculous price premium which I feel is unjustified but it only takes 1 person to pay the price, sadly that will not be me at these premiums

you paid £150k for a lambo that is losing value, but you wouldn't pay £150k for a Ferrari that is appreciating in value?

I buy the best CAR for driving and its not about the money. I expect and budget for a loss, which is more than compensated by my other appreciating assets.I have a mate who invests in cars and has about 8 in his collection but he rarely drives any of them which seems pointless to me. Over a 10 year period my houses have doubled what he has made on his cars and I've got to drive all kinds of exotica in the meantime
He thinks I'm nuts and I think he is nuts but there you go, you pays your money you make your choices.
He seems happy to wheel and deal and just look at them whereas all I want to do is drive them.
What makes me laugh was I told him to buy a CS 3 years ago at £90k and when I told him yesterday they were now £170k you should of seen his face. He is a big Porsche fan and I won't repeat what he thought about the price as his view is more extreme than mine
Surely anybody looking for a CS will know this isn't genuine, it never ceases to amaze me at some of the adverts people come up with, if it were advertised as a modena with some upgrades i'm sure the would sell a lot easier than being falsely advertised as a CS, a price wouldn't hurt either.
I totally agree, it would be better to put it under the normal 360 section otherwise people will think you are trying to con them into thinking it is a real one. I might even have been interested!
Thing is with the prices now , rhd models are out of my price range. However lhd is a possibility, as I love the look and sound of the cs, saying that for not much more money you could have a lhd 430 scuderia which is faster and better built and which I am sure will eventually start rising in value as well. To make myself more confused , I could have a 360 and throw some upgrades on it , cs software, improve the handling etc and with the money saved I could get another car as well , maybe a all out track car like a lotus 211 , radical sr3 etc. Another option would be just a normal f430, but I am not convinced about the noise it makes, and that would not leave much change for another car.
Choices. Choices.
Or a 360 and a nissan gtr / Audi r8.
What to do!

Disagree. Yes it is faster no doubt, but IMO the CS is better built. The CS was build on the same line as their race cars, whereas the Scuderia (wonderful it is) was build on the normal V8 production line.Having followed Trev's thread converting his 360 into a manual CS into something almost 200kg lighter it has become evident that a CS is so much more than a 360 with a couple of parts added/removed. A lot of the underlying parts are completely different.

As others have mentioned, converting a CS to manual is quite possible. Parts will run you about £5k and it's completely reversible.
