Just purchased a California .

In the manual states 95 Ron unleaded is that what you all use ?

Or will it be better on 98 Ron shell Optimax.

Thanks

I was hoping that someone with more expertise than me would answer, but since you haven't had a reply, I can say that I usually use standard unleaded. I sometimes put super in if the price difference isn't too much, but I can say I have noticed any difference either in performance or mpg. No idea if it is any better for the engine or not, but since the manual (and all the dealers I have spoken to) say unleaded is fine, then I suppose it must be.
Hope that helps.

Much the same i.e. normally use 95, but will use 98 if doing any spirited driving/ charity rides day etc.

I do like these cars. The Swiss Army Knife of Ferraris....especially like F355's car...pretty much perfect colour combo for me. I am wondering whether the replacement will impact values of the original car though?

Hi,

I was surprised when I was told to run 95RON in the Scuderia, but did so, and it was fine on long journeys through Europe.
I think you will get a more informed response from someone like Cerbieherts on this forum.

Always used 98 in mine, its a cleaner fuel, can't say I've noticed any increased performance though.....
