Very glad I did this - took my car to Hotel Hermitage in Monte Carlo for dinner.

Just got my car back from the bodyshop having a few ugly bits taken care of - now the outside matches the inside :-)

That Blu Abu Dhabi Portofino at Romans is lovely. Just the right spec, with loads of carbon to remove the acres of plastic they come with as standard, and all the practical bits and bobs like parking cameras, Car Play, decent hifi, etc, and an unusual and beautiful colour. I know it seems like sacrilege to be obsessed with spec on a V8 Ferrari, but given the Portofino's brief as a rapid and stylish GT, I wanted mine to feel like a special place to sit, as well as being fun to fling down a B road with the roof off!

I hope it was as nice in the metal as it looks in the photos. When are you buying it? biggrin

Hmm - I’m cogitating . . It’s a question of garage space . . It’s lovely in the flesh, great spec - lovely blue with a slight sparkle in it - just can’t quite make the decision - would be to replace my 991.2 gts targa as I think the portofino would be a better cruiser on the motorway

Almost one year since picking up my 458 Spider, gave it a clean and took it down Haynes for the breakfast clubs Italian theme last weekend.

Thanks, I'm glad to be driving it again - although my wallet took a hammering.

By the time I got to Lynton rain en-route and a few trucks issuing spray had dulled the shine smile

I am now thinking about selling. Mrs Blue advised me that she would be more interested in road trips if I had something a little less "raw"
