and i went F8 Spider to F12. F8 was soulless and with Spider the scuttle shake is not acceptable for the year and money. F8 Tributo won't have that problem but you won't hear it. F12 different level. Have no experience in Roma, not a fan of the looks but at some price point it will tick a lot of boxes for some.
I have both an F8 Tributo and an F12, and have driven the Roma and 296. The F8 is more muted than any of the other three, but I would argue that the F8/296, Roma and F12 are very different characters. I found the 296 too small inside compared to the F8 and really like how the F8 looks. It is also modern enough inside (although don’t have anything against some element of haptics). The F12 sounds the best of the lot and has a mildly unhinged side to its character that the others don’t. As ever there is no wrong answer - all down to personal preference and I count myself incredibly fortunate to be able to drive a (any) Ferrari
I recently went from a 2017 Aston V12 Vantage S (it had the full AMR performance pack fitted, so the secondary cats were removed), to a Roma. Obviously the Aston won hands down regarding soundtrack and the associated drama / theatre. However, in essentially all other departments the Roma is superior, especially drivetrain / gearbox, handling, performance, cabin / controls etc.
Regarding looks, I would propose the following - If Aston made a Ferrari, it would probably look something like a Roma :-)
