I’ve seen that in the flesh a few times, it’s a brave choice for sure. They’ve also got a yellow 458 Italia in at the moment. Bar the wheels, I think I’m in love.

I think we have a winner, the first sub £100k retail one for quite a while now. Pricing is still very punchy given the mileage though

That ad has been running since Nov 2023 it seems, price has dropped a lot recently, I seem to remember seeing it at £114k at one point.

Unless you absolutely had to have one, no matter what, I just cannot see anyone dropping £100k on that.

At circa £85k it's very hard to resist the thought of buying it and dailying a 458..

I could resist it. I soiled myself when my 458 wouldn’t start and lit up like a Christmas tree within 3 weeks of the Ferrari warranty ending.

That is one big fat "ooof" right there.

At that age and mileage it's a DIY or specialist car. Fundamentally, the 458 is a pretty solid car.

I could imagine an indy buying it (at trade or better) and running it, esp as they are getting on a bit and people will begin to move towards indies for fettling and servicing.

Presumably it had just been off the battery tender for 5 minutes?

I had the same happen to me, basically every error I think the ECU could generate, "go to dealer" etc.. Mine did start up, but it happened as I pulled out of the drive. A frantic phone call later and the main dealer said "yeah that can happen".

Italians must like having heart attacks I guess.
