Same here. very classy but feels 'race' like also. I can't see another that has that sort of look and feel?
Nice colour combo but a bit lacking in some carbon fripperies.
Like?
Anything that's silver plastic on the interior looks naff to me, I can take some of the external plastic as carbon diffusers and splitters are asking for trouble.

This was Scottish chap on here footsoldier from new. Was pleased the second owner stored it next to mine in London underground so I had a good look at it. Cracking in the flesh.

I actually prefer this colour combination. Same money and dealership as well

I'd take it, but I've always preferred tan and brown to cream. More practical, too.

Speciale coming up:
https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2015-ferrari-4...

It'll be interesting to see what this gets to, given how many are for sale on the used market currently.

Hmm watching that one. Must admit with the prices softening I did consider going all in and replacing a few cars with a Speciale but bottled it. I would imagine it will see about 300 and be unsold.

Wonderful cars I would love one dearly.

Same, I've always wanted one.

I doubt it'll meet the reserve.
There seems to be a huge void between what dealers are asking and what people are currently willing to pay.

I think asking prices shooting up to 400 put a lot of people off. Not sure how many really changed hands at that level but seems to be the same set of cars always for sale.

Plain Avus White shouldn’t bid more than £265k + Fees, but agree will go unsold as the bid & ask gap on these is huge atm. Great car, loved mine, not as rare as perceived closer to 330 UK cars than the 250 regularly spouted out. Will buy again when more choice under 300k..

Yeah I know a gent who paid around 275k for one when they were low just before Covid spikes and sold it a year later for 380k, easy money.

If they were ever sub 260k again for one with some mileage I would be really tempted but cannot see it happening......

Me too.

The Speciale is the only recent Ferrari I want want want and have an absurd emotional desire for.

The rest are just nice but not nice enough to get me back into one.

That was my car from new...I specced it with zero carbon , even had the carbon steering wheel covered in leather, as the only way to get the LEDs. Leather behind seats etc. The exterior grey plastic was painted black at factory
It's actually a 2017 car, not 2016, their website has it correcttly.

Can't say I'm not tempted to buy it back, so would be nice if someone else would remove the temptation!

I'm planning on a road trip in September. Starting in Monaco and ending somewhere on Italy's west coast.

Two questions:

1) Does anyone know where to get any luggage that'll make the most of the storage space in the front boot and behind the seats of a 488? I am not paying £5000 for Ferrari luggage.

Hasn't anyone in China done a knock off? biggrin

2) Any recommendations for transporting the car to and from Europe? I don't want to drive it to the south of France.

You shouldn’t need special luggage, the boot’s huge unless you’re taking the kitchen sink.

It is, but it's a two week trip for two people so I need to maximise all the space and be able to fly the luggage.

These guys who do bags put the dimensions on them so I can probably just find ones from that (or just buy them from them, even though >£3k still seems a bit excessive):
