The car is from a private UK collector and is very similar to the black one at H&S...this one's in dark blue! Paul has previously been highly recommended and I may well speak to him...but I'd also like to glean as much as possible in black and white...so to speak...if at all possible?

ps. are GT PP usually that bad? scratchchin

Depends who writes the articles, best to gather as much as info as possible from the mags and then speak to one of the experts.
Mark @ Ninemeister built a replica from a 964 RS a couple of years ago. He'll be able to give you the low down on the chassis/bodywork stuff.

Is the car a Midnight blue one ? If so it's quite possibly the car 911 and Porsche World tested 4 or 5 years ago. Had a cage IIRC but had ben carpeted too ?

Thanks again...yes it is midnight blue but no roll cage and light weight carpets. I have all 911 & PW mags so will check 4-5 years ago! read

Sorry scotty_917, the car I was thinking about in 911 and Porsche World was Cobalt blue not Midnight blue.
There is a Midnight blue car (based on an RS) with replica wheels which was built by Freisinger in Germany, PM me if it's this car you are considering.

Hi Scotty, ask me what you you need to know down to the finite details. I own one of each 964 and even rarer 993 RSR and have been round the block with all the 'bullshit merchants' also. All I will say as in the early cars is be careful, even these cars are being tampered with now!!! They are coming up and will be big money with some dealers, especially Mr Schmitz in Telgte.... read
