Does a quartet of colourful 993s appeal? step inside...
Discussion
...though if you're a stickler for factory standard cars , you may wish to step back out!
One fine day in August, we decided to get 4 solid coloured 993s together for a bit of fun, photos, and a drive . Why? There's not so many brightly coloured 993's so it felt like great way to celebrate these fantastic cars, each one modified to meet their owner's vision . It was a long time in the making having bumped into each other at various events in the past, though not as a complete group. So, with a date finally set, location agreed - Caffeine & Machine - the excitement began to build .
What a day it turned out to be, all fantastic cars in their own right, together with a great group a passionate owners who aren't afraid to drive and enjoy their cars regularly . Thanks must go to 9WERKS & TOTAL911 for making the day come to fruition!
Oh, and despite our uncharacteristically searing heatwave this summer, the weather gods decided to arrange a downpour for us
after weeks of drought! In true UK fashion, weather didn't stop play....
I'll be posting a bit more on my IG account @ch3tman, but sharing a few highlights from the day below for PH viewing:

This doesn't help my want for a 993
Go for it - you won't regret it . I'm 8-9 years into ownership and it's definitely a 'forever car' .guyvert1 said:
I'll have the Orange one please , yummy yum yum...
Thank you! I shall never part with it .A993LAD said:
Riveria was always my preferred option, until I saw that orange car.
Riviera anything but number 1? Get your flamesuit on ....A993LAD said:
Great pics too well done. Please can you photoshop out the woman/pram/pitbull out of pic 2 though .
Learning such Photoshop skills is on the every growing to-do list! Orangecurry said:
Who owns Jackal's old car nowadays?
It's changed hands at least a couple of times since Jackal moved into F-cars and appeared on Collecting Cars in that time in that time, too. Firstly, owned by PH'er barchetta_boy and currently a nice fellow who enjoys it when not in his M2 Competition or M3 CSL. Edited by ch3tman on Friday 14th October 15:30

Thanks for the comprehensive replies. I wonder why it keeps being moved on?But where is the silver-coloured model in your photoshoot above?

I remember bidding on that yellow car on CC a few years ago. Didn’t really want RHD, so was a little too expensive for me. Still want it though - looks so nice, as do the others. Really want a 993
and so many others argh
If you're serious, drop me a note; there is potential...and so many others argh
