Hi all,

I had my agreed valuation last year on my Carrera 3.2 at £55k, however for this year's renewal that doesn't seem accurate. I've had a scan of the classifieds on here and AT and the closest I could find was more like £75k - does that sound right?

Either last year's valuation was understated or it has gone up £20k in a year which I find hard to believe?

Details:
1989 Carrera 3.2 coupe in Guards Red, G50 gearbox, cream leather interior with red piping, 85k miles, fsh, all original

Cheers

I'd say the answer is between those figures.

John Glynn of impactbumpers does valuations.

Mine’s an ‘89 too and I had an agreed valuation last year of £63k, so between the two.

thanks i'll get in touch with him

is it spec dependent as well as mileage? ie do coupes and certain colours demand more or less etc? Thanks

For an insurance agreed valuation, I doubt that colour had much bearing. But spec and condition certainly would do.

Let us know what the answer is when you get it, just for curiosity sake.

£74k agreed valuation, happy with that even though it's mostly inflation
